What is a Bobeche?

A Bobeche is a ring that goes around the base of a candle in order to catch wax dripping. Bobeches are usually made of glass, but in some cases other materials (like paper) may be used.

A Bobeche is both functional and decorative. High-quality bobeches are made from crystal and often contain different designs, cuts, or ornaments. They help keep your surfaces and candle holders clean by catching the candle wax that drips when burning a taper candle.

Where can I purchase Bobeches?

Cape Candles offer Bobeches for sale here. If you are interested in wholesale or custom bobeches you can contact us here.

Where are your Bobeches made?

Cape Candle manufactures over 80 designs in Germany. We use high-quality cut glass and top-grade stained glass; combined with 21-carat gold and 18-carat platinum on our bobeches.
